Their challenge

Juniper Systems, Inc. designs and manufactures ultra-rugged handhelds and tablets to meet data collection needs while ensuring device durability. 

Juniper’s current lack of visibility into their plant’s inventory has resulted in inefficient planning and production processes. They also struggle to keep up with competitors that provide customer portals for seamless ordering and access to past orders and invoices. Juniper has grown significantly over the past 30 years and requires a scalable tier-one system to accommodate their needs. 

Our solution

Juniper planned to roll out Dynamics 365 and chose MCA Connect due to our industry expertise, specifically around electronics and discrete manufacturing. We’re also working with Juniper’s parent company, Campbell Scientific.  

Campbell engaged MCA Connect after another partner failed to progress with Finance and Supply Chain Management. Known for our ERP rescue experience, we’ve rescued nearly 30 implementation projects. 

Our team will deploy Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management, Sales, Field Service, and Marketing at Juniper’s Logan, Utah plant. The anticipated go-live date is May 2024.  

Expected results

  • Improved visibility and more accurate planning and production decisions to reduce delays and optimize the supply chain.  
  • Better customer experience with user-friendly portal for Juniper’s customers to place orders, access invoices, and review order history. 
  • Increased operational efficiency and productivity throughout Juniper’s manufacturing facility, resulting in lower costs, better resource management, and faster order processing.  

This rollout includes net-new Dynamics 365 Marketing and additional Dynamics users that will drive Azure consumption.
