Their challenge
Morton Buildings is a 120-year-old employee-owned company specializing in pre-fabricated commercial structures. Like many Dynamics 365 customers, Morton routinely exports their business data to Azure Data Lake to obtain insights, improve efficiency and profitability, and better serve customers.
After Microsoft announced the deprecation of the Export to Data Lake feature, Morton decided to move to Azure Synapse Link to capitalize on its advanced data processing and analytics capabilities.
Early last year, MCA Connect partnered with Morton to optimize their Azure environment and increase the speed of their data. Impressed by our team’s quality of work and Azure Data and AI expertise, Morton entrusted us with the Synapse Link project.
Our solution
We are replacing Morton’s existing Data Lake export tool with Azure Synapse Link to enhance their data management capabilities. Following best practices for optimal migration, our Manufacturing Intelligence team is leading the project to ensure a smooth and efficient migration in just a few weeks.
Results
By leveraging MCA Connect’s data migration expertise to transition to Azure Synapse Link, Morton will solve their immediate needs and build a foundation for the future. This migration will enable Morton to grow with real-time insights, streamline data management, boost performance, and unlock the power of Microsoft Fabric’s AI and ML-driven analytics.
